Violin Staff Note Flashcards
Go bowling with these violin staff note flashcards. These notes are all in first position. And they are for the beginning finger pattern taught in Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in Suzuki Book 1. You can print them out by string. Cut the cards out along the dotted lines. Yes! Cut the staff note flashcards in half along the dotted line. Your student will then match the bowling ball with the bowling pin. Find all the pairs by matching the card halves. This means matching the letter with the note on the bowling pin. Each bowling pin shows one note using the treble clef in first position. Print out all the cards, or just choose the string that your student is learning. We don’t want to overlook the violas! So here are viola staff note flashcards. It is the same set of cards only for viola. Like the violin cards, this one also is the beginning finger pattern taught in Twinkle Twinkle Little Staff. You’ll find this in D Major in Suzuki Viola Book 1. If you teach both violin and viola, I recolored the bowling balls so that you can keep the cards matched together. These cards are perfect for beginning note readers! Help the learn the letters that match the notes on the staff.
Like a lot of my other projects, I recommend printing these on card stock. This helps them last though the week with lots of use. If you are using them in your studio, you might want to consider laminating the cards. But laminating isn’t necessary. Just print them out and use!
