The Star Spangled Banner – Piano Trio

I was commissioned (read more here) to arrange The Star Spangled Banner – piano trio. The piano begins with a dramatic introduction. The cello and violin enter as the main tune begins. The violin plays the melody with the piano doubling the melody for the first half. Midway through the violin carries the melody as the piano breaks off into an accompaniment pattern. All three instruments join together on the melody for the last phrase. There is extensive position work for both violin and cello in this arrangement of The Star Spangled Banner. This position work sets the level at late intermediate/ advanced.
