The Magic of Music Theory workbook series teaches music theory from the perspective of the fingerboard. Book 2 is for the later beginner who knows all pitches and finger placements in first position. Recommended for age 7+, these pages reinforce concepts the student can already perform on the instrument. To save valuable lesson time, these pages are designed for the student and practice-partner to complete at home with minimal teacher instruction and oversight.

To access audio tracks for the “What do you hear?” aural skills pages, we provide 2 options. You can download a zip file with an mp3 track for each page. The track plays the question, gives the student time to answer, and then gives the answer. This gives the student immediate feedback to help them learn.
