Boil ’em Cabbage Down is the perfect fiddle tune for the beginning violinists. (Level 1A) A great tune to learn for your first fiddle tune. The repetitive rhythm pattern makes the bowing pattern easy to learn. Set in the key of A the main tune is all on the A string. “Shave and a hair cut, 2 bits” is added with a sliding first finger at the end. Your beginning student is sure to love this!

Three different versions of the violin part are included. The first page has the violin part written using the key signature. The second page has the accidentals printed by each pitch. The third page uses alpha notes. This is where the pitch letter is printed in the note.
